TEHRAN, November 11 - While 380,303 MT of commodities worth over $476 million were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) in the first week of November, the volume and value of trading experienced a growth of 26 and 34 percent, respectively.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 192,209 MT of various products worth close to $255 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 185,700 MT of steel, 5,330 MT of copper, 170 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 9 MT of precious metal concentrates, 1,000 MT of cement as well as 5 kg of gold bullion were traded by the customers.
The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 154,093 MT of different commodities with the total value of $214 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 71,796 MT of bitumen, 51,017 MT of polymer products, 30,205 MT of chemical products, 1,075 MT of insulation were traded.
Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME witnessed trading 34,000 MT of wheat, 320 kg of saffron were traded by customers.
