Tehran, YJC. Pourmohammadi says corruption is to grow under sanctions.

Minister of Justice Mostafa Pourmohammadi appeared in a talk show on the Iranian state TV to discuss judicial concerns.

"I consider the sanctions as the principal source of corruption. We have even said that to the United Nations. Economic sanctions in their essence mean the production and spread of corruption,” he asserted.

Pourmohammadi also provided comments on his stance regarding Iran’s new diplomacy on its nuclear case and said "We must not forget that we are dealing with a deceitful, high-sounded, oppressive rival. It is so much relief that the government has had a good performance there. Under such circumstances we must avoid unjust criticism and help the government by being there as firm as we can.”
