TEHRAN, October 17 -The Boston Celtics have grabbed a convincing 105- 87 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in the opening game of the National Basketball League's new season.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -After a neck and neck first quarter which ended 21-21, the Celtics stepped up the pressure and led by five points at half time. They made their move in the third quarter and pushed the margin to 11 points before closing it out with a 28-21 win in the last quarter.
Boston Celtics are now on a ten-match winning streak over Philadelphia 76ers at home. They will next meet the Raptors in Toronto.
