New Hitlers emerge if US not confronted: Iran

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) In the ceremony which was held today morning, General Hatami noted that Iran has always shown its seeking peace and being loyal to international commitments while it is a powerful country to defend itself and said "but Americans are banning Iran because of the independence of our homeland, that is contrary to humanitarian principles, and resorting to economic terrorists to block even the preparation of medicines".

General Hatami asserted that Iran is one the major victims of unfair wars and chemical weapons.

Iran has been spending huge costs for remedying the ones harmed from such weapons of mas destruction, he added saying the damages are apart from social and psychological harms.

"What is important is our cooperation with each other to treat and reduce the pain of the injured victims as well as the mental and emotional losses of their families, because we believe that all humanity must work together to relieve pains", General Hatami said expressing Iran's readiness to share experience in military medicine with other countries.

All countries must seriously confront those war-mongering countries and not allow them to bring the world toward war and violence, the Iranian minister stressed.

The 4th edition of Military Medicine Congress in Asia-Pacific Region began in Tehran on Saturday.

The conference, which ran through October 15, is attended by military commanders and delegations from 45 countries.

Iran took the rotating presidency of the biennial congress.
