Larijani: Disrupting negotiations will not benefit West

Tehran, YJC. Majlis speakers says it will hurt the West to disrupt the nuclear negotiations.


The Speaker of Iran’s Majlis called unfavorable actions by the EU and US regarding Iran’s nuclear deal agreement in Geneva political misconduct and said that such actions will benefit neither the EU nor the US.

Ali Larijani who was speaking in the sideline of his meeting with officials of Qom said the reporters "It was expected that the way would be freed for enacting the Geneva agreement. But the actions of the EU and US go against the deal and cause misunderstanding.”

"These actions are what will be called political misconduct,” he maintained, adding "Neither the EU nor the US have laid the practical grounds for enacting the Geneva agreement.”

He further said "The expert talks were to follow the enactment of the Geneva agreement whereas the US has taken measures which will disrupt the progress.”
