Tehran, YJC. Lawmaker says as the Geneva agreement voids credit, it will be a good thing to return Iranian negotiators from Geneva.
Member
of Majlis Committee for National Security Parviz Sarvari in interview with Mehr
News Agency said "It was a good act, but by no means enough. Iran has to announce
that it will not sit for negotiations and that the Geneva agreement is expired,
unless the Six Majors adopt trust-building actions.”
Pointing
to the recent US sanctions on Iran, Sarvari said "As it could be predicted from
early on, the Americans showed their dishonesty once more to the Iranian nation,
proving that they are not a reliable side for negotiations.”
"Principally,
Americans make a move forward in the beginning of talks. Then, if they notice
that the other side does not march along confidently they lead the negotiations
where they desire. So it is highly important what reaction Iran adopts against
America’s recent action,” he asserted.
Stressing
that if Iran does not take firm action against violation to the agreement by
the US the agreement will end in their benefit, he said "The US has to make up
for its action against the agreement, else the agreement will lack credit.”
He further
pointed out "It is mentioned in the agreement that if one side violates an
article of the agreement it will be void and both sides can return to the phase
before negotiations. So right now the agreement lacks value and Americans have
to make up for their action.”
He added
"Iran must officially announce America’s trespassing of the agreement so that
it can lead the agreement in the right way, if not, the other side will be the
winner.”
