Tehran, YJC. Lawmaker says each Iranian couple must make 3 children in order to give a good picture of the Iranian population in the future.
Abdorrahman Rostamian, member of the Majlis Committee for Health, in interview with DanaKhabar pointed out that a number of infertility drugs are being covered by health insurance.
"First we must see what ratio of the infertile population need the drugs,” he stated.
He added that Iranian couples need to reproduce more frequently and said "Middle-age pregnancy will bring abnormalities to the country, therefore families must be encouraged to make at least 3 babies each.”
