Tehran, YJC. Foreign Ministry Spokesman has expressed worries over EU’s reinstatement of sanctions on Iranian companies.
The Spokeswoman of the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs in reaction to the EU Council’s reinstatement of sanctions
on a number of Iranian companies called the action a one-sided,
politically-oriented decision and lacking legal requirements.
Marzieh Afkham stated "We hope
that the EU rearranges itself in synchronization with the Geneva agreement and
acts in line with building mutual trust.”
"This is a curious, surprising
action, keeping in mind the Geneva negotiations and mutual attempts to take the
preliminary steps to carry them out,” she asserted.
She stated "We do condemn the
act and we recommend the EU readjust itself in keeping with the Geneva
agreement and act toward boosting mutual trust.”
