TEHRAN, September 05 - Media sources report of a blast in front of US embassy in Egypt capital city of Cairo.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - A man blasting a hand-made bomb near the US embassy was arrested Reuters also reported. The blast hurt no body.
The security officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the device was spotted outside the concrete barriers that encircle the embassy and the ambassador's residence in the leafy Garden City district.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorised to speak to the media.
The US embassy also tweeted a statement confirmed the blast and asked the US residents be cautious and not go to the embassy.
The embassy complex is located in Simon Bolivar Street of Cairo.
