Tehran, YJC. IranKhodro official says after sanctions are lifted, his company will make new deals with Mercedes Benz.
Speaking in the sidelines of the International Car
Manufacturing Industry Conference in Tehran, the CEO of IranKhodro Hashem Yekeh
Zare said "Iran’s vehicle market is highly attractive for foreign companies. Iran
is willing to increase its product by their side.”
Zare added "We will hold talks with Peugeot today and
tomorrow. The talks will address new products.”
"Peugeot and Renault are old colleagues to Iran, plus the
fact that we are conducting discussions with a German Company,” he asserted,
adding "After the sanctions are revoked, we will begin cooperation with Mercedes
Benz.”
He further stated that IranKhodro will increase its products
before the end of the year, Iranian calendar, starting a new trend there.
He also pointed out that IranKhodro’s new car "Dena” will be
delivered to the market next July.
