Tehran, YJC. Iran’s Foreign Minister says his side will not attend future nuclear talks if Israel is going to be present.
In the
sidelines of his meeting with prominent clergies of Qom, Foreign Minister Mohammad
Javad Zarif in a press conference on Friday evening pointed to circling words
that Israel may be attending future negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program and
said "The Islamic Republic of Iran maintains that that regime is the biggest
regional and international threat and it will have no place in the
negotiations.”
"Iranian
negotiators will not enter a room where there are the Zionist,” Zarif asserted.
He stated
that instead of pressurizing Iran, world powers must try to disarm Israel,
adding that in that case, the region will be free of mass destruction weapons.
Iran’s
Minister of Foreign Affairs further said "The Zionist regime has at its
disposal chemical as well as nuclear arms. It is the case that such weapons do
not create any security, but rather expose the region to danger.”
