Tehran, YJC. Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister says the EU action in adding more Iranian companies to its list of sanctions goes contrary to the cooperative morale.

Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi addressing reports that the EU has added 17 Iranian companies to its list of companies under sanctions said "In case the news is true, keeping old sanctions is not against the recent agreement, but against the cooperation morale and goodwill in the current situations.”

He added "The recent agreement does not include many of the old sanctions and of course the agreement is not yet operational.”

The Council of the European Union has announced that it has recently added 17 more Iranian companies to the list of Iranian companies under sanctions.

It has said that according to a decision made on March 23, 2012, it will continue its limitations on some Iranian companies.

Iran’s nuclear power plant construction management company and 16 sailing companies are the ones newly added by the Council of the European Union to the list of Iranian companies under sanctions.
