Bahman Asgari has won a gold medal for Iran in the men’s Karate minus 75 kg category in the 2018 Asian Games.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In the final match, Asgari beat his Saudi opponent 5-0, to secure the title. Before that, he had defeated players from Afghanistan, Mongolia, Thailand and Chinese Taipei.
However, in the women’s competitions, Pegah Zangeneh took the bronze medal, in the minus 68 kg category. Zangeneh beat her Vietnamese opponent 10-0 in the 3rd-place match.
