TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “It is really sad to see the United States, which is the illegal actor in this whole affair, trying to and keep on doing all kinds of things which I would call warfare, suffocating a country with more than 80 million people, diplomatic isolation, telling in 12 points what a sovereign state of Iran must do to have the honor and privilege to work with the West,” Jan Oberg, political commentator and founder of transnational.org told Press TV in an interview on Friday.
“I wonder how long time Western allies and friends of the United States are going to go along with this. They seem to ignore the fact that it is the United States and not Iran who is breaking international law… So I hope that allies will finally find out that the country we ought to have sanctions against and we ought to pressure to behave decently is the United States and not Iran,” he added.
