Tehran, YJC. Deputy FM in Arab, African Affairs says Iran trusts Lebanese security forces.
Speaking with Almanar, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister in Arab and
African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian pointed to investigations pursuing the
terror bombing near Iran’s embassy in Beirut and said that Iran has appointed
no research group to investigate the details of the incident.
"We completely trust the Lebanese security forces and they are
sure not to shy from their duties,” Abdollahian emphasized.
Abdollahian also pointed to the state of affairs in Syria and warned
all the parties who operate, instigate and support the takfiri groups, Almanar
reported.
"We warn all those who facilitate smuggling weapons to the
Syrian territories that in turn move to the neighboring countries,"
Abdollahian, who was delegated by his government to join the official
condolences,said
"These terrorist crimes cannot make Iran deviate from its
maxims," the Iranian diplomat said.
Abdollahian also stressed Iran's support for the Islamic
Resistance in Lebanon.
"Iran sees security in Lebanon as important as its national
security," he emphasized
