Tehran, YJC. Lawmaker says Iran has done the greater part of the agreement it used to seek with the West.
The
Spokesman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Majlis Seyyed
Hossein Naqavi Hosseini speaking about the committee’s meeting with Foreign
Minister Mohammadjavad Zarif said "Mr. Araqchi, senior member of the nuclear negotiation
team, in this session in a report announced that since the beginning of the New
York meeting there has been much achievement, including the aim of the
negotiations, the ways of agreement, and clarity about the negotiators’
demands.”
Hosseini
further asserted "One of the points stressed by the lawmakers in meeting with Foreign
Ministry officials was the nation’s nonnegotiable right to use the nuclear
energy and do the enrichment as much as needed inside the country.”
"Zarif
asserted that all the details of the talks had been related in full in the
Supreme National Security Council and that the leaders of the state are fully
aware of the entire negotiations; decisions are being made at high levels and
we are only executive agents,” the lawmaker further explained.
He further
said "Zarif stated that about 90 percent of the negotiated topics are agreed
upon and there is around 10 percent disagreement, which will be discussed in
the third round of talks.”
