Tehran, YJC. Analyst says France’s recent move in Iran-Six Majors talks indicates the country’s lack of respect for international rules.
International
affairs analyst Sa’dollah Zare in interview with Fars pointing to the recent Iran-Six
Majors negotiations and the unfavorable stance adopted by France said "What we
have unfortunately witnessed in the past years is that the Security Council
members which must be most avid in defending countries’ legal stances have
themselves turned into the ones violating the 1951 convention.”
"It
is to regret that the French Foreign Minister was influenced by the Zionist regime.
That’s why he ignored international rules; which is the reason the stance
adopted by Paris was met with unfavorable reactions at the international level,”
he further asserted.
Zare
maintained "France failed to understand the depth of what the US was after. It was
taken in by the American scheme. Paris did not make a sound analysis of the
stance adopted by the US, which used the country in the way it did, assigning
it a harsh role.”
He further
believed it impossible for the Six Majors to reach a unanimous say in one week
as needed for them to join the Geneva talks once more on November 21.
