TEHRAN, July 30 - Yemen's Ansarullah Spokesman downplayed US-supported Emirates' power in invading the impoverished country, al-Masirah reported.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Addressing a UAE's minister of state for foreign affairs Anwar Gargash, the Yemeni Spokesman Mohammad Abd ul-Salaam wrote in a tweet: "This war of aggression revealed what they wanted to conceal. You Emirates are nothing without US [support]".

He asserted: "the ruling system in Emirates is too weak to form a battle front against a village of Yemen, let alone to get engaged in a war against the Yemeni nation".

He then added that the relation ship between US and UAE is of a colonizer and its puppet in the region.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for more than three years.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia along with some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the impoverished Yemen, yet it has reached none of its objectives there against the unequipped barefooted popular force.

The Saudi-led aggression has also taken a heavy toll on the country's infrastructure, destroying many hospitals, schools, and factories.

The United Nations has already said that a record 22.2 million Yemenis are in dire need of food, including 8.4 million threatened by severe hunger.

A number of Western countries, the United States and Britain in particular, are also accused of being complicit in the ongoing aggression as they supply the Riyadh regime with advanced weapons and military equipment as well as logistical and intelligence assistance.
