TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Iran can become the reference for the Islamic World in Quranic sciences regarding the existing capacities and the high level reciters, said Iranian minister of culture on Sunday.
'Iran has progressed noticeably in Quranic sciences and has reached good ranks both inside and outside the country, and with regards to the existing capacities, Iran can become a reference in Quranic sciences,' said Abbas Salehi in the 47th meeting for Quran preaching.
Referring to the international competitions of Quran, he said that the event is turning point in Quranic activities in the country and Iran needs to take serious steps in hosting it.
