Tehran, YJC. The IAEA is going to inspect Iran’s Gachin mine and Arak heavy water facilities.

Speaking in a joint press conference with Yukiya Amano on Monday, Iran’s Head of Atomic Energy Organization announced that the IAEA is going to visit the Gachin mine and Arak’s heavy water facilities.

Aliakbar Salehi providing comments on today’s Iran-UAEA talks said "In today’s talks between Iran and the agency, which took around two and a half hours, the issues must have been discussed in a way to meet the satisfaction of both sides, and I am happy to say that that was what happened.”

Salehi added "With the government’s new approach and using past experience, we managed through needful measures and tapping into past experience, as well as considering the new approach, especially the president’s assertions, to reach mutual agreement.”
