Fingerprinting lawmakers no political act

Tehran, YJC. Qashqavi says as Germany has fingerprinted Iranian lawmaker, Iran is going to take countermeasure.

Consulate and Parliamentary Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran affirming reports about Hamid Rasaei being fingerprinted in the German Embassy said that the Foreign Ministry will take countermeasure.

Hassan Qashqavi who was speaking in interview with ICANA pointed to news about Iranian Lawmaker Hamid Rasaei being fingerprinted at the Embassy of Germany and said "According to the Brussels MEMO, about 25 countries are included in fingerprinting since last year. On the other hand they announced in the same MEMO that the fingerprinting will be continued in the years to follow.”

He further added that lawmakers are included in the rule whereby they will be fingerprinted.
