Tehran, YJC. Navy commander says Iran is the most advance country in maritime affairs.

Speaking
at a meeting in Mazandaran, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari pointed to the Navy’s
cruises in international waters and said "We are ready to make it to the
Atlantic Ocean as well whenever necessary,” the Army Public Relation reports.
Sayyari
asserted "Right now we have brought economic security to the Gulf of Aden. We are
ready as well to make it to the Atlantic Ocean as well upon order; even if it
is tomorrow.”
He also
pointed out that Iran does not intend to obstruct the Strait of Hormuz, adding "We
are so powerful that we initiated the idea for the security of the Strait of
Hormuz.”
The
commander of the Iranian Navy further stated "The most advanced technology in
naval forces of the world goes to the construction of submarines, and that is
an ability which we currently have.”
