TEHRAN, July 04 - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said there has been no plan for Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s visit to Iran.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - He made the remarks after some reports said Abe has canceled his visit to Iran.
“There has been no talks or plan on Japanese prime minister’s travel to Iran to be canceled,” he said.
He said reports by Japanese media that Abe has canceled his visit are false and lie.
Qassemi also called Iran-Japan ties ‘good’, and said, “We hail expanding bilateral ties with Japan, as an old partner and friendly country, in all levels, but no visit in future has been on agenda.”
