TEHRAN, July 04 - The US was after isolating Iran, but it will pay heavy cost, said Iran's President, attending a conference in Vienna on Tuesday, among Iranian residents of Austria.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Zionist regime and US have always been after cutting Iran's relations with other countries of the world through spreading Iranophobia, he added.
Isolation of Iran, Rouhani said, is the new goal of US, but this time no countries followed the policy but one one or two ones.
Rouhani said "Today, we face a situation where we should make stronger and more sustainable relations with those countries that have traditionally had good relations with Iran"..
The Americans wrongly imagined that putting pressure on Iranian nation and talking to them with a threatening and disgracing manner would make them surrender, Rouhani noted.
The Iranian president stressed that today sympathy, friendship, and brotherhood among all Iranians are felt needed more than ever.
Rouhani said that in case of an appropriate planning, all threats and pressures could turn into opportunities, asserting that foreign pressures can not surrender the Iranian nation.
Heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, President Rouhani arrived in Zurich, Switzerland, on Monday at the invitation of his Swiss counterpart. The Iranian president then left Bern for Vienna later on Tuesday to meet Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and Chancellor Sebastian Kurz.
