Rouhani to discuss nuclear deal in Austria, Switzerland

TEHRAN, July 02 - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said he is going to discuss the future of Iran’s nuclear deal and Iran’s agreements with EU during his current visit to Europe.

Rouhani to discuss nuclear deal in Austria, SwitzerlandTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Rouhani has departed for Switzerland and Austria on Monday.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran attaches great importance to the entire Europe and the EU, especially countries with which Iran has had friendly ties.”

He also said P5+1 members except the US are making effort to preserve the nuclear deal.

“They all feel that survival of the agreement is benefiting the region and the world. They all condemn US withdrawal from the agreement because it dropped Resolution 2231 which makes countries cooperate.”

He noted his visit to the two European countries is an opportunity to discuss the nuclear deal and agreements with Europe.

Rouhani said that Iran continue talks with Europe on Syria and Yemen as well as Iran’s role in stability of the Middle East.
