TEHRAN, July 02 - Angry crowds gathered outside a closed polling station in Mexico City on Sunday demanding to vote, in a hotly-contested election that is expected to herald in the country's first leftist president.

The capital's Vaconcelos Library opened up for special ballots for citizens voting in different delegations and states. According to local sources, the library ran out of ballots and closed leaving some angry residents outside demanding to vote.
This is Mexico's largest ever election with some 18,000 public servant posts up for grabs, said outgoing President Enrique Pena Nieto in an address to the nation on Wednesday.
Candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador from the leftist MORENA party is widely tipped to be Mexico's next president.
