TEHRAN, June 22 - Iran and Slovakia plan to expand bilateral economic ties.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Iranian Minister of Economy Masoud Karbasian in a meeting with his Slovakian counterpart stressed widening mutual economic cooperation between the two sides.
Karbasian stressed boosting bilateral banking, industrial and trade ties between the two sides.
“Slovakia is one of the most important partners of Iran in Eastern Europe.”
He also referred to exports of agricultural goods to Slovakia from Iran, saying the exports can be widened in future.
The volume of mutual economic exchanges between the two countries increased by 50 percent over recent years.
Karbasian headed to Austria after his one-day stay in Slovakia.
