TEHRAN, June 21 - Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi blasted hasty withdrawal of some European companies from Iran.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In a meeting with Norwegian Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Soereide, Salehi criticized hasty response of certain European companies to US withdrawal from Iranian nuclear agreement and said US policies are doomed to fail.
He noted collapse of the agreement would cause an irreparable damage to the international community.
Salehi continued building confidence is important and necessary, but it needs right and effective moves by the two sides.
He expressed hope that Europe would understand the sensitive situation and comply with its commitments in right time.
Ine Eriksen Soereide, for her part, said Norway continues to support implementing the nuclear deal and it will make effort to help Iran benefit from the agreement.
She said withdrawal from the agreement would bring severe consequences to stability and security of the Middle East and NPT.
