TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - At the scientific meeting of "American human rights in the viewpoint of the Iran’s Supreme Leader" which was held at Ayatollah Haeri hall of the Qom seminary’s management center last week, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki said, “The challenges that American human rights is facing is an advanced example of secular human rights in the world which is in serious trouble in three areas of theory, vocabulary and behavior.”
The secretary general of the world forum for proximity of Islamic schools of thought said, “In the field of theory, secular human rights is unable to provide a reliable basis for human rights.”
Ayatollah Araki asserted, “We believe that the human rights of Americans is faced with a fundamental and unsolvable challenge in theoretical aspect. On the contrary, Islamic rights is based on a substantiated and reasonable principle.”
He added, “Another challenge of secular human rights is in the field of vocabulary. They do not present any correct definition of words like justice and injustice and so the secular system cannot provide a correct interpretation.”
Ayatollah Araki called behavioral challenge another major challenge faced by American and European human rights.
