TEHRAN, June 09 - The young 27-year-old owner of online retailer Afghan Mart is making brisk sales in Kabul after setting up shop just over a year ago with 500,000 Afghanis ($7,000) worth of goods.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Esmatullah said that an average of 50 customers call him daily for deliveries during the current holy month of Ramadan after browsing his goods online. It's reflective of a wider trend for shoppers in the Afghan capital, who are going online to stock up on everything from food to fashion in fast-growing numbers to avoid bomb attacks and sexual harassment.

Delivery man Ajmal Jan said riding his motorbike through the streets of a city like Kabul, where danger lurks in almost every street, was a major challenge of his profession.

Security is a concern for many in the city where one bomb blast can be followed by a second in the same area.
