TEHRAN, June 09 - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Tehran welcomes Russian companies and private sector’s investment.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, Rouhani said the landscape of Iran-Russia joint cooperation, especially in economic fields is ‘bright and developing’.
He also said the two countries hold necessary potential for cooperation in energy swap, Caspian Sea, defense fields and transit.
Rouhani is in China for Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
Putin, for his part, said Moscow would keep cooperation with Iran in economic fields as well as defense ties and energy swap.
He also said Moscow supports Iran’s membership in Eurasia Agreement and making free trade agreement permanent.
He also said Moscow would keep talks with other sides of Iran’s nuclear deal to back the agreement and help Iran benefit from the deal after US unilateral withdrawal from the deal.
