Tehran, YJC. Head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization says that the current Iranian negotiation team enjoys certain privileges to take the negotiations somewhere.
The
Head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization Aliakbar Salehi said to Fars provided
comments on the Foreign Minister’s recent statement that Almati initiatives
belong to history "Certain things were mentioned in the Almati pack and the
sides have said that some parts of it will be in effect in the next round of
talks.”
"The
post-electoral situations have also influenced the nuclear case. The Supreme
Leader has also given guidelines. These have created situations which make us
more optimistic than the past,” Salehi asserted.
He further
said that the nuclear case is above all else and that the Supreme Leader is
personally in charge of the affair.
Expressing
hopes that the nuclear talks will yield a desirable result, he added "Americans
have come to understand that the current conflict has no more benefit and that
the Islamic Republic or Iran has not succumbed to all these troubles. Regarding
regional circumstances and the global economy, this is the direction in which
the US has to move.”
"Although
we do not accept the West’s concerns as fair, we can obviate them through
international mechanisms, treaties, and rules. We must eliminate such concerns
in the right way which is to guarantee that we will not deviate. They must also
recognize our rights. So I think that in the Geneva talks we will be taking the
first step,” the Head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization stated.
