TEHRAN, June 04 - Iranian President Chief of Staff Mahmoud Vaezi said infrastructures are prepared for expanding Tehran-Baku ties.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In a meeting with Azeri Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov, Vaezi said, “The diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is expanding bilateral ties with neighbors, especially with Eurasian and Caucasus countries.”
He also said Astra-Astra strategic project between Iran and Azerbaijan and bilateral cooperation between the two countries on Caspian Sea are on track.
He stressed boosting bilateral and multilateral cooperation to develop peace in the region.
Novruz Mammadov, for his part, said Azerbaijan is committed to expand bilateral economic ties with Iran.
“Baku is willing to participate in south-north transit project which reduces time of cargo shipment to Caucasus and east Europe by half,” he said.
