TEHRAN, June 03 - Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mehdi Karbasian said Russian companies are in talks with Iran for investment in mineral sector.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - He said Russia is expected to make $1 billion investment in the field, adding in case certain banking challenges are resolved, there would be no more limitations.
He added some Russian giant companies working in exploration, copper and zinc have visited Iran and held talks on bilateral cooperation.
Karbasian noted two Russian companies have received maps for mineral cooperation with Iran and are going to submit their proposals soon.
