Tehran, YJC. Larijani says that the US is not able to attack Iran and the Iranian do not give attention to the talk of such attack.
Speaking at the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Committee for International Peace and Security in Geneva, the Iranian Speaker Ali Larijani said "In a general analysis, one can find a number of threats to the global peace. The first threat is the mass destruction weapons, especially nuclear arms at the very current number stored right now, which have the power to destroy the earth a number of times over.”
Larijani added that terrorism as well as sectarian and religious clash are the second most important threat to global security.
"Such things have greatly amplified in the past decade. There is the governmental kind of it, for which the Zionist regime wears the medal, having killed 5 of our nuclear scientists. And there is the non-governmental kind which, it is to regret, some superpowers have supported them in order to use their power, an example of which can be seen in the Syrian crisis where they have provided the terrorist with arms and other facilities in an unbound fashion,” he further said.
He added "The US very unscrupulously keeps saying that the military option is on the table, although neither the US dares attack Iran nor does the Iranian nation give a dime about their balderdash. But the thing is those who use the language of threat intend to create psychological insecurity.”
