TEHRAN, May 27 - Iranian President Rouhani forwarded a congratulatory message to his Lebanese counterpart Michel Aoun felicitating the 18th anniversary of Israelis’ withdrawal from southern Lebanon.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Lebanon is on the front line of war on Zionists’ expansionism and for this cause the golden triangle of government, army, and resistance is the key to materializing the grand victory,” reads a part of the congratulatory message of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to his Lebanese counterpart, President Michel Aoun.
The Iranian top executive sent the felicitation message on the advent of the 18th anniversary of the victory of the Lebanese over Israeli regime’s occupation of south of Lebanon.
After 19 years of fights and occupation of the southern areas of Lebanon, the Israeli regime retreated from the area on May 25, 2000, after being defeated by Hezbollah forces.
