Tehran, YJC. Lawmaker says Chinese car manufacturers have caused the demise of the car industry in Iran.
Mohammad Bayatian says that Iranian car manufacturers have
been unable to attract the customer by not being able to make products that
agree with their taste, adding "Iranian manufacturers are in a good state
regarding the ability and know-how to make cars and they have nothing short of
the Chinese ones. But it is to regret that so far no facilities have been
considered for them.”
"The Chinese vehicles are not at all in line with our
standards. Therefore the Chinese manufacturers’ dumping must be stopped,” he asserted.
