Tehran, YJC. Salehi says a group have been arrested while attempting to damage the country’s nuclear facilities.
The Head of the Nuclear Energy Organization said "A while
ago we took notice of some sabotage attempts at nuclear facilities. We identified
them and let them continue their job so that at the right moment and having
gained access to the details we would arrest them.”
Aliakbar Salehi added "Four of them were arrested on the
spot and they are under investigation,” Mehr News Agency reports.
The Head of the Nuclear Energy Organization refused to
provide more information on the issue on the grounds that the interrogations are
yet underway.
He provided comments on Iran’s security measures for the
nuclear cyberspace and said "Since the Stuxnet virus began its activity the
Nuclear Energy Organization started action. Now security systems are upgraded. Besides,
we have taken away the systems that are connected to the internet.”
