TEHRAN, May 15 -Metropolitan police struggled to separate pro- and anti-Erdogan protesters outside Downing Street in London on Tuesday, as the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan began his state visit.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Several protesters were detained by police. Free speech organizations and pro-Kurdish activists are protesting Erdogan's campaign for re-election in Europe after his decision to call for snap poll on June 24.
The Turkish president will meet with British Prime Minister Theresa May as part of a three-day trip, where he is expected to discuss regional security, defense contracts and human rights.
