Tehran, YJC. Jack Dorsey and a Twitter account alleged to belong to President Rouhani have discussed Iranians’ freedom on cyberspace.

On Tuesday Jack Dorsey, the creator of Twitter, mentioned the Iranian president Hassan Rouhani in a tweet asking the president how free the Iranian are to access virtual content.

The conversation went:

Jack Dorsey @jack

@HassanRouhani Good evening, President. Are citizens of Iran able to read your tweets?

About five hours later, Rouhani responded:

Hassan Rouhani @HassanRouhani

In the exchange to which Rouhani was referring, he had been asked by the CNN presenter about his own prolific tweeting, and whether he would open up social networks for Iranians to access more freely, the Daily Mail reports.
