TEHRAN, May 9 - Showing response to US's exit from Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA), Iran's Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief said that US was not loyal even to his signature.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) – Brigadier General Mohammad Bagheri, attending a conference of armed forces skill training, announced that the Armed forces are ready to help the government manage the country.
"Today we can firmly tell to the governors that they can with no concern promote national development", he went on.
General Bagheri noted that Iran should stand on its own feet and avoid to be dependent on things like JCPOA.
US President Donald Trump announced his decision on Tuesday to withdraw the United States from Iran’s nuclear deal with the world powers and re-impose sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
The announcement came despite massive efforts by the European allies of the US to convince Trump to stay in the 2015 deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), reached between Iran and the P5+1, five permanent members of the UN Security Council – the US, France, Britain, Russia and China – plus Germany.
