TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) – North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has travelled to China for a second time to meet Chinese president Xi Jinping, ahead of a planned summit between North Korea and the US.
Chinese and North Korean state news agencies confirmed the meeting, which took place throughout Monday and Tuesday.
During the meeting, Mr Kim indicated he would pursue denuclearisation in return for security assurances.
Footage from China’s state broadcaster on Tuesdayshowed the two leaders exchanging views while sitting among lush flowers and during a stroll on a beach.
