TEHRAN, May 7 - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif reiterated that Iran’s interests in the nuclear deal should be preserved.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) – Zarif who has already visited New York said he has held talks with individuals took part in previous rounds of P5+1 talks and are US elites and decision makers in a bid to transfer realities.
He has held talks with former US Secretary of State John Kerry in New York.
“The reality is that the Islamic Republic of Iran has so far abided by the nuclear deal and it is a serious country in the international scene. However, Americas have refused to abide by the deal and it shows American are not reliable.”
“The Islamic Republic of Iran will decide based on its interests and in case the US makes an already-predicted wrong move, it will not be in favor of Americans.”
He said Iran has made the planning to prevent the US decision influence Iranian nations’ lives.
“Iran’s interests in the nuclear deal should be preserved, otherwise in case the US wants to impose economic pressures on Iran, Iran will show an appropriate response.”
