Tehran, YJC. Member of the Majlis Board of Directors says that Iran can discuss the level of uranium enrichment if it is what the West is concerned about.
Abdorreza
Mesri, member of the Board of Directors of the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of
Iran regarded heroic flexibility as Iran’s principal in international
negotiations and said "If the West have a problem with the level of enrichment
that is what we can discuss.”
"The
nuclear energy is Iran’s right and we will not ignore it, but our flexibility
may come in the enrichment percentage,” Mesri asserted in interview with the Islamic
Consultative Assembly News Agency.
He pointed
out "Iran is not after nuclear bombs, as the Supreme Leader has announced
nuclear bombs and all kinds of mass destruction weapons as haram.”
Mesri
then said "If the US says there must be no atomic bomb, which we also agree to,
it must be the first country to destroy nuclear warheads.”
"The
world knows the motto ‘nuclear energy for all, nuclear bombs for no one,” he
stated, adding "the arrogance wants this technology to be its special province
so that it would be able to sell it to the world later on. That is because
little is left of the life of oil and after oil, nuclear energy will talk the talk
in the world. Under those circumstances if nuclear energy is owned by a few
countries they will be the ones to decide under what price to sell it to
others.”
The
Spokesman of the Majlis Board of Directors further said "The West know that we
are not within the framework to produce nuclear weapons. So, their only reason
to stop Iran and other countries producing nuclear energy is for nuclear energy
to be theirs exclusively once fossil fuels and oil are gone.”
