Iran, Russia, Turkey FMs meet in Moscow

TEHRAN, April 28 - Foreign ministers of Iran, Russia and turkey discuss the latest developments in Syria and their influence on regional peace and security as they met in Moscow on Saturday.

Iran, Russia, Turkey FMs meet in MoscowTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif along with his Russian and Turkish counterparts Sergei Lavrov and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu issued statement at the end of their trilateral meeting.

The three sides stressed their abidance by sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of Syria.

They also stressed goals and principles of the UN charter, reiterating that all sides should respect the principles.

They emphasized boosting trilateral cooperation based on the previous statements issued in November 22, 2017 and April 4, 2018.

The three sides agreed to increase efforts to facilitate political settlement of Syrian issues based on a landscape stipulated in the UN Security Council 2254 Resolution.

They emphasized increasing cooperation to annihilate all terrorist groups including Daesh, al-Nusra and other terrorist groups.
