Tehran, YJC. In a note to the Bushehr power plant transfer, the president has said that Iran is the harbinger of nuclear power plants to the Islamic world.
In
a note, Rouhani addressed the handover of the Bushehr nuclear power plant,
which was officially held on Monday.

Ahmadian."Now, with divine regard and mutual cooperation between Iran and Russia, and despite some delay, the occasion for temporarily delivering the Bushehr nuclear power plant has come. Thanks to the efforts of the Iranian youth and the strategic policy of the Islamic Republic on developing modern technology, we are the harbinger of nuclear power plants in the Islamic world,” the note read.
It added "The cooperation trend between Iran and Russia has had a descending trajectory in the last few decades and the Bushehr nuclear power plant is the symbol of cooperation and a ground for further cooperation.”
"Bitter nuclear incidents such as the Fukushima disaster are a stamp of approval on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s regard for full confidence in the security of the power plant,” Rouhani further asserted in his letter.
He added "The motto of the IAEA is ‘Atoms for Peace’. We hope that all countries try for the realization of this motto. As in the past, the Islamic Republic of Iran will be a forerunner in attaining that high goal.”
