TEHRAN, April 23 - Approximately 533,578 MT of commodities worth over $267,4 million were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) in the second week of April..
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 16,322 MT of various products worth close to $37 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 8,440 MT of steel products, 4,230 MT of copper, 1,000 MT of cement, 2,500 MT of aluminum, 140 MT of molybdenum concentrates as well as 12 MT of precious metal concentrates.
The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 441,620 MT of different commodities with the total value of $209.2 million were traded.
On this trading floor, more than 270,740 MT of bitumen, 69,540 MT of polymer products, 62,910 MT of VB feed stock as well as 5,000 MT of lube-cut oil, 22,360 MT of chemical products, 8,780 MT of sulfur, 620 MT of insulation, 50 MT of slaps waxes and 1,656 MT of heavy paraffin wax were traded.
Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME, 74,090 MT of various commodities worth over $19.9 million were traded. On this trading floor, 67,600 MT of wheat, 240,000 day old chicks, 5,300 MT of crude vegetable oil as well as 950 MT of sugar were traded by customers.
It is worth noting that during this week; the side market of IME witnessed trading of 316 MT of scrap, 1,000 MT of metals concentrates, 120 MT of polyester threads and 119 MT of frozen meat.
