TEHRAN, April 21 - Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mojtaba Khosro-Taaj said the country’s exports to Iraq total $6.5 billion.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - 14 percent of Iran’s exports are directed to Iraq whose value, excluding gas and electricity, is $6.5 billion.
He also referred to visit of Iranian First Vice President Esha’agh Jahangiri’s to Iraq early March, saying during the visit the two sides agreed to design a 5-year cooperation roadmap.
“We have 3 months to prepare the roadmap.”
He added that Iranian government has decided to establish a $3 billion credits line for more active presence of Iranian economic activists in Iraq, and noted the credit line’s legal aspects should be considered to minimize risks for Iranian traders and businessmen in Iraq.
