TEHRAN, April 18 - Iran and turkey agree to boost the level mutual cooperation between police forces of the two sides to battle drug trafficking.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Iranian Embassy in Turkey said the two sides reached an agreement to extend cooperation between police of the two countries to confront drug dealers in a session in Ankara.
They review the process of mutual cooperation over recent months, operational cases and boosting contacts between anti-drug police officials.
They also focused on training and intelligence cooperation of counter-drug police to improve identification operation and arrest drug dealing networks.
Iran and Turkey discussed increased drugs cultivation in Afghanistan and battling money laundering as well.
