Tehran, YJC. The Friday Preacher of Tehran has called for the US to abandon all thought of attacking Syria.
Pointing to
the state of affairs Syria, Ayatollah Jannati said on Friday "Syria is in a
miserable state right now. The homeless have grown in number inside and outside
the country, but the enemy does not let go.”
"Americans would like on one hand to attack, and on the other the Syrian people and others do not agree and so Americans cannot make a decision; but it would be better if they’d be reasonable for once and avoid disgracing themselves and bothering the people of Syria,” Jannati went on.
He also provided comments on the Western policy on the Middle East and said "God may give them wisdom; and us as well, and give the Syrian people patience and give them the final victory and save the people of Iraq from these blasts.”
